Eos lip balm + Pretty eyeshadows...

EOS lip balm in honeysuckle honeydew and summer fruit

After seeing these adorable lip balm I knew I had to find them! Whenever I stopped by a drugstore or any place that sells lip balm I would go through the aisle looking for it... However no luck.... Last week however, I went on the EOS webpage and I found out that RW & Co. sells them... Immediately I went to get them this weekend!! I got two, a honeysuckle honeydew scented one and a summer fruit! The packaging is adorable and the application is unique :) I love things that smell good and taste good, although I'm pretty sure you aren't suppose to eat them (I can't help it! ) This will make an excellent addition to anyone who likes a unique lip balm!

Update: I went to the states a few time and I got the EOS in Lemon drop. Love it! It is refreshing and as a plus has a spf 15 making it perfect for a sunny day out! Also it is easy to open even with gloves as I found out snowboarding at Blue Mountain this year! :)

L.A. Color in Tease

OMG! This was sooo good!! Very intense colours, vibrant and simply beautiful! I loved it! I have NEVER worn red as an eyeshadow... but after I applied this one I really liked it! The first time I used it I didn't use primer and it creased a little... So we'll see how it looks after I prep my eyelids first ;)

Update: yeps better and brighter colours with primer, and does not budge :)

Anna Sui: Lovin' my lipbalm!!

For some reason my lips are extremely dry today, to the point of peeling (and on the verge of bleeding...) Thankfully, I have my Anna Sui lip balm... Wahh... after 2 hours since initial application it still feels soo nice! Typically, I would not purchase lip balm that is in a tub because I do not like to use my finger to apply them, but I stumbled upon this while I was at Shoppers with some credits to spend, I brought this.. and loved it! I use the Quo lip brush to apply this silky lip balm on and I carry 'the set' with me at all time. However, I think that I would have to find a more convenient lip balm... Still, this was a nice treat.

Mid August Makeup Haul

Here's a late post for some things that happened mid August. Firstly... I got my first E.L.F. haul and also I did a small haul while I was in the States!!! :)

I've done my first 'haul' blog on my main page and here is a link for it...

Mini E.L.F. Haul

Here are the things that I got from my stop at Fashion Outlet Mall and Wal-Mart in the States:

E.L.F. Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths vs M.A.C. Wipe

I recently finished my MAC Wipes and got to try my new E.L.F. Studio Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths.

The E.L.F. product is in a sleek black packaging with a lid that opens in the middle and unlike the one from MAC, this second layer is resealable and therefore it acts as extra protection to help prevent the cloth from drying too quickly (the last few sheets from M.A.C. were kind of dry)

I was not too sure what to expect since it was only $3 for the pack, to my surprise, I really liked it! I found that they were both good at removing makeup off my face at the end of the day, but ELF is more gentle on the skin and smells really nice... kind of like Aloe Vera (it's one of the ingredient...) It is also very refreshing and not at all sticky. The E.L.F cleansing cloth is a lot less oily than the M.A.C. one and unlike the one from MAC, it did not sting / irritate my skin when I was removing my makeup with it.

With such great quality at 15 cents a sheet compared to 40 cents a sheet at M.A.C. I would definitely recommend trying. It's painless to save!! ^_^

Makeup Blog Post #1

It was May 2009 when I finally realized the importance of skincare and makeup is to my self-esteem and love of self. It all started with a quick stop at the Bay, where I decided I will 'fight' this acne problem of mine and purchased my first "3 Steps" from Clinique. This blog is dedicated to sharing my experience (adventures!!) and thoughts on beauty matters for oneself, for fun... Welcome to my Makeup Blog :)
