BB cream craze!

I've been following Bubz on youtube for a while now and for the last 2 vids she mentioned this BB cream that she is using now because of recent breakout... so I got curious and looked it up... Now I wanted to try it! The one that she used is the Skin79 BB cream, which upon searching online, I found that this brand have 13 different BB cream to choose from for different skin type as well as different options we may look for in a cream (ie whitening, spf, etc.) They have a chart that help us identify which one is best for "me." So I decided to check out their authorized dealer in the GTA to find that the one in Pmall is out of stock and I could not for the life of me find the one located in Time Square T^T I didn't end up buying it this weekend, which turns out to be in my favour because last night I chilled with Daisy (my bestest bud's girl) and she let me try the BB cream that she had (one from Missha and the other one from Skinfood) Yay!!

I am so excited about this that I tried the Missha one this morning. I found out that it applies on smoothly and really help even out my skin tone. The coverage is light to medium, I think it is buildable, however I prefer just a nice thin coat. The product also lasted me the entire day. Will continue using it for the next week to see results :) Hopefully it'll be everything I need it to be :)

Falsies!

I got bored and decided to try out these false lashes that I got for my costume last Halloween. It is was my first time putting them on... and surprisingly, I did the first eye (the right one) perfectly and couldn't stop screwing up my left one... Anyways, here's how it looks...

I'm not sure if it was the glue or not, but I got a stye the next day on my left eyelid, so I decided to toss out the glue and eventually invest in a better glue and give this another try... :) Not bad for a first time right?? haha... Note: the lash on the left eye fell off 1 hour after application... Definately problem with the glue!! ^_^

Makeup haul 3?! 4?!

:D Lancôme cosmetics were on sale at the "Designer Fragrances & Cosmetics Co." so I splurged a little... Et voilà!
The cosmetics I got on this trip :) lots of pretty eye shadow colours!
Here's a list of the things that I got at the outlet:
  • 5 single eyeshadows
  • 2 nail polish
  • 2 CIL BOOSTER XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base
  • Lancôme Beauty Essentials gift set <-- has a eyeshadow palette + 3 brushes + mascara + mascara base!! :D

We also stopped by Millcreek mall to see if the Sephora inside Macy's was any good... and it was!! So from there I got the Naked Eye Soft & Sexy Eye Shadow Collection from Too Faced, and the Erase Paste from Benefit Cosmetics. I tried out the new Too Faced palette and was able to create a soft smokey look, Em liked it so I'm glad I got it. Though I haven't tried the concealer yet, I just know it'd be perfect for my undereye circles! Just need the time and patience for that.. :)

I like the Natural palette so much, I know I just had to get this one!!
Overall it was fun to shop again, I cannot wait to try out everything!

Naked Palette

I'm forking that money to get it... I've waited 7 months already... do not want to wait any longer!!
Sooooo excited to get my UB Naked palette!!

Update: The Naked Palette was available at the Millcreek Mall's Sephora (located inside JC Penney) so I got myself another one... :) I really love the neutral colours in this palette. It makes a wide range of looks from natural to sultry smokey. I use mainly the matte colours during work days but would line my lower lashes with a glittery/shimmery colour like 'Darkhorse.' I find that it gives my eyes a more softer look which I love! 'Creep' and 'Gunmetal' are also excellent liner colours.

I wear 'Virgin,' 'Naked' and 'Buck' on a daily basis. I don't like to wear too much makeup when I go to work, so these matte colours are great for very natural + awake eye looks. To complete the look I tend line my lower lashes with a shimmery colour (ie. 'Darkhorse.')

I <3 this palette =) Actually I really <3 Half Baked, but the singles are always sold out at the Sephora near me, so having this palette is good... ^_^

Liquid liner!

Review: Cover Girl - LineExact Liquid Eyeliner

I finally got the courage and moved onto liquid eyeliners! The pencil eyeliners that I've used smudges within 30 minutes of application due to the oily skin around my eyes. *sigh* the raccoon!! It took me forever to find the right mascara, so imgaine how glad I am to find the perfect liner! Thanks to Ronnie who recommended the CoverGirl LineExact Liquid Eyeliner!

I got it in 3 different colours, Very Black, Black Brown and Smoke. I wear 'Black Brown' on a daily bassis because I find it very easy to apply on and surprisingly natural which is perfect for work and everyday on the go wear. Whereas the 'Very Black' comes out much more dramatic more suited for evenings. The 'Smoke' colour actually didn't really show up on much, so I don't think I would be wearing the colour much, at least not on it's own.
