Current Lippies: In MU bag (swatches)

Ever since I had a reaction to my beloved EOS lipbalm, I was determined to find other products that could replace it... That is when my love affair with lip products started.

Currently I have 6 7 lip products in my Go-To-Bag.

L'Occitane Rose Pastel
Benefit Cosmetics Ultra plush lip gloss in Coralistsa
Tokidoki Gelato lip balm stain in Mozzarella
Clarins Crystal Lip balm in Crystal Pink
L'Occitane lip balm Fleur Cherie
As you may have noticed, I am still loving coral colour lippies, but I'm looking forward to trying out other colours~~ Currently on the way, I have two Too Faced nude lippies. :) Let's see if I will love them~

There is also two more products for lips in my bag and that is:
... my Vitacreme B12
This eye and lip cream comes out light pink, but it has no colour after it is applied~ I apply it on when my lip or eye area is dry. It smells great and applies nicely~
I took a picture of the ingredients ^^
and finally, I keep a small tube of Vaseline lip therapy (original) (no pictures, sowy!)

Mini Sephora Haul... just so I can get the VIB gift~

Pathetic? I know... and the sad part is, the Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional that I was looking forward to was substituted with Sephora's Anti-Shine Foundation Primer :|

Here is my impulse purchase:
I purchased two products, Laura Mercier's Tinted moisturizer in Nude and a Clinique brush-on cream liner in Black Honey. The rest were samples... VIB gift and 100-point-perk Algenist cream
Being a VIB (or simply put makeup shopaholic) has its perk, mainly detrimental to your wallet tho... for this VIB gift I needed to spend $35 at Sephora. I got 8 'deluxe' sample size products plus this shiny makeup bag~ Surprisingly, it does not make the plastic noise I thought it might :)
List of samples:
  • Stella McCartney - Stella
  • Smashbox - Oil-free primer
  • Sephora Collection Instant Moisturizer
  • Sephora Anti-Shine Foundation Primer
  • Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel
  • L'Occitane Shea Hand Cream
  • Algenist Overnight Restorative Cream
  • Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara

I didn't swatch the TM *** , but I did try out the cream liner. I was pleasantly surprised by it's lasting power! I have oily lids so I figured it would just be a hot mess after 30 minutes... It lasted all day! Black honey is a warm brown with small glitter in them. This brown is lovely on the eyes, and makes the eye look bigger without the harshness of black.

no flash
It did surprisingly well when I tried smudging it... and it only budged when I rubbed it really hard...
*** I had to return the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer because my face started breaking out every time I used it. I think I should try to stick to oil-free products for the most part... I guess I still have oily skin despite of my dry patches~

Yet another Haul~

Quick post! Some bloggers say, the easiest post is a NOTD, but for a shopaholic like myself, I feel the haul posts are the easiest~~ This is me cheating after neglecting my blog for almost a month XD
I was in Atlanta for an entire week with family, but I still managed to squeeze in some time for shopping :) majority of these stuff were purchase at the outlet, the rest were at Wal-Mart, Costco and well... Sephora and L'Occitane~

I flipped my thumb nail before my trip so I had to stock up on some more bandaids... I got the Johnson & Johnson Water block plus, however, they were not that great. They were not that waterproof, and I had lost one in the shower~ I think I will stay with Nexcare Bright Comfort Fabric :) More realiable and more fun!

July Glossybox 2012 Canada

Alas, my July box has arrived and I can't really muster up any excitement for the products in it.
Glossybox July 2012
Box with the fancy month card, product info and 1 coupon of $2 off Eucerin products
I have some dry patches on my skin but overall I'm oily combo, so this will have to go to my fiance, will update on the results after he tries it :)
This is the only thing I'm excited to try! Unfortunately, I only got 4 samples and a pamphlet on the the brand and its product, why no coupons?! :(
Meh? This product is better for winter when skin is more dry, but looking forward to trying it when it's cold~
Funny, this was on sale at Shopper's this past weekend and I almost grabbed one~ Lucky I waited?
Dove?! -__-"
I got a full size Zoya nail polish in Meg. Its a pretty green, but I can only see myself wearing this colour on my toes or on fingernails during the month of October~
Overall, quite disappointed in this box. Rating? C+ sadly, not yet a B. I got my money's worth, but I felt that the products in this box just didn't wow me... I feel like I could have gone to Walmart or SDM to pick these up. Merp~ I will give it one more box before I decide the fate of this subscription~
